“We loved this tour! It took about 5 hours in total because we had a little bit larger group. It provided a great overview and introduction to Melbourne. There was a great mix of sites to see and historical information. The bikes were easy to use and the hills were few and moderate. Peter is a great guide, very knowledgeable and balanced a good amount of riding with just right amount of conversation. Make sure to eat a good breakfast. Our tour began at 10am and we didn’t eat lunch until 2:30pm. Loved Brunetti’s stop for gelato and pastries! Highly recommend this tour!!”

“Enjoyed the city bike tour. We were upgraded to E-bikes which as nice and made the tour very comfortable. I’d actually recommend the E-bike option as there are many hills. Our guide was very good but does require a basic bike maintenance course as he didn’t know how to put his own chain back on and luckily a chap from our group as able to do it for him. It is a fantastic way to see a bit of the city.”

“What a great way to see and hear about Sydney. Paul was a wonderful guide, so friendly and enthusiastic. His knowledge of Sydney was amazing! I’m glad I did this tour at the beginning of my visit as it not only gave me some background information but also gave me an idea of where I wanted to return to to explore further. The biking was super easy with lots of informative stops. Although riding on the road was a very small component of the tour, safety was still a very high priority and any biking on the road was in the safety of the bike lanes. I would highly recommend…”

“Rolled up to Blue Tongue Bike Tours half-expecting the usual “here’s a bridge, here’s a mural” spiel. Instead I got Mad Max – a 22-year-old whirlwind of charisma, and encyclopedic Melbourne trivia who looks like he could still get carded at a pub but talks like he’s been narrating David Attenborough specials since kindergarten. From the second we strapped on the helmets, Max had the whole group (10 strangers, multiple continents, one very confused American) laughing so hard we nearly rode into the Yarra. He’s got this infectious, zero-pretension vibe – think your coolest mate who somehow knows the exact year the Flinders Street clocks were installed and the best…”

“This is an absolute must do!!! The countryside scenery can not be experienced on foot or in a van, it just can't. The lovely smell of the flowers, the wind in your hair and the smile on your face as you travel on the bikes is second-to-none. I would do this tour, again and again. Ian was our guide, he was professional, safe and fun to spend the day with!”
