Start with a 7am hotel pickup and ride through Balik Pulau, Kuala Sungai Pinang, Sungai Rusa, and nearby plantations. Your local guide, often Eddie or TC, shares stories about farming and village life. Expect basic single-gear bikes, a mostly flat route, drinks and snacks, a goat farm stop, and about 50 minutes of driving each way.

“Generally, I liked the tour, had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed cycling around the area. The people who run it are very polite and accommodating. I’m only giving 4 stars because I would have preferred for the tour to be a bit more informative giving more insights to the locals’ everyday life. Nevertheless, I would really recommend it!”

The bike ride was very reasonable, it was hot but expected, and we stopped along the way for bits of touristic information / refreshments / sights, etc. GREAT tour, definitely recommend!”

Hotel pickup, bicycles, farm entry, and drop-off are included.

“We had a lovely time on the tour! The guide was lovely and gave us a great tour of the countryside and the island of Penang. I only struggled a bit because the transportation was at 6:30 in the morning and the drive through the mountains took over an hour through very winding roads, so the carsick people need to be aware of this. The tour itself is wonderful, but I also struggled a tiny bit with the bike, as it was quite old and gave me troubles. But you can overlook those things for the overall experience!”
