“The bike ride was very beautiful. Just the most perfect day. Our guide was the best. You kind of want to be a mid level cyclist to get the most out of it. But if you’re not you’re supported as much as you need to be.”

5.Tuscany Hills Bike Tour with Lunch at farm and Wine Tasting

★★★★★★★★★★4.9 · 18 reviews · from $73

Spend seven hours cycling from Florence into the Chianti Classico hills with a small group of up to 10 people. Ride 35 kilometers with 460 meters of climbing, stop at a local viewpoint, then enjoy a family-run farm lunch, wine tasting, and olive oil sampling. A guide such as Alessandro may lead the ride. E-bikes cost €30 extra.

“If you are at least a decent cyclist and a lover of great views, culture and great people- this will be the highlight of your vacation! The only warning I have for you has nothing to do with the tour. If you are driving to the start of the tour on the southern side of Florence, give yourself an extra half hour to find parking. Know where none residents can park. We were late to the start location due to parking the car. We did contact the office and they kindly gave us advice and helped us find their office after parking.”

Florence: E-Bike Tour in Tuscany with Winery & Wine Tasting

7.E-Bike Tour in Tuscany with Winery & Wine Tasting

★★★★★★★★★★4.9 · 15 reviews

Leave Florence’s Oltrarno by e-bike for ancient country lanes, olive groves, villas, and hilltop views. Your English-speaking guide, such as Luka, Amar, Totò, or Giovanni, leads a small group of up to 10 to a family-run winery for wine, olive oil, bread, and Tuscan bites. The ride suits confident cyclists aged 14 and older.

“The tour was definitely worth our time. Claudio was a great guide. He was patient, knowledgeable and very pleasant to be around. Also, his English is exceptional! The actual facility where we met was not the cleanest. But, we didn’t stay there very long so… not a huge deal. Also, it is a little confusing to know where to go once you are past the gate (the description up until then was very helpful). There are 3 different doors in the courtyard and no identification on them. So, you’ll have a 33% of finding the right place the first time. Good luck. We really enjoyed ourselves”
